How It Works
Khabardar works using a series of filters. Each filter searches the website for cues that would indicate an unreliable source of information.
Age Filter
Websites that are less than a year old are generally unreliable and shouldn't be trusted.
Blog Filter
Blogs hosted on blogging networks like blogspot and tumblr pretending to be news sites.
CrowdSourced Blacklist
A blacklist of unreliable websites that are known to spread false and fake news.
